Due to a strange bug on the Xbox store, players can grab a classic game while paying absolutely nothing, but it’s likely the bug will be squashed soon.
You’d better be quick if you want to try to take advantage of this Xbox store bug, which has listed the brilliant action platformer, Metal Slug 3, for free.
The Metal Slug series is a high point of arcade side-scrollers, with gorgeous pixel graphics, hardcore difficulty in places, and frenetic action throughout.
If you’ve never experienced one of these games, this would be a good place to start, and a nice little freebie to grab before Microsoft spots the issue.

The error was pointed out by Fit-Cardiologist-124 over on Reddit, who pointed out how to snag the game for free.
They explained, “Right now, the game is priced $9.99 in the US Xbox store. However, in the Hebraic store, it's free. I don't know if it's a bug... but redeem while you can.”
The user confirms that no VPN is needed, though you will need to use the browser version of the store and any translation plug-in to read through the page.
Another user managed to grab the game, though they believed it was region-locked before double-checking that it was available on their US account.

Further down the thread, plenty of players have been able to grab this retro classic.
“Cheers OP. Works for Australians,” confirmed Noobgamer0111.
“Working for Brazil,” claimed another Redditor.
It turns out the Hebraic store has another freebie hiding away, pointed out by aaronrm32, who said, “Ikaruga is also free right now from the Hebraic store.”
