Xbox gamers agree that a recent release is the console's best game this year and best of all, you can play it with a subscription to Xbox Game Pass.

As much as it disappoints me, it’s probably fair to say that Xbox Series X/S hasnt had a great year when it comes to exclusives. However, there is one game that’s ended the year on a high for gamers of the green brand.

Check out the Indiana Jones and the Great Circle trailer below!

The game in question is Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, developed by the current Wolfenstein studio, MachineGames. While many of us hoped that this Indy game would be fun, it’s perhaps taken many of us by surprise to how good it is as reflected by its Metacritic scores of 86 and 8.6 from critics and users, respectively.

I just hope that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle isn't forgotten about over time, because it deserves better.

In our review of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, GAMINGbible’s Emma said: “MachineGames, I tip my hat to you. You put everything into this. Not just your industry experience but your passion for Indiana Jones also, culminating in a breathtaking love letter to the valiant hero.”

Fans have also been sharing their love for Indy on Reddit. “I’ve just finished The Great Circle in 40 hours… by far the best game I’ve played this year!” said Toulow, kicking off the discussion on the thread.

“I've never watched an Indiana Jones movie before. I started the game yesterday and played for nearly two hours,” replied Temporary-End9636. “After that, I decided to give the movies a chance and I had a real "Aha-Moment" after the first scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark.”

“The game is super fun, I’m playing side quests and will play the main game later,” said guardianultra.

“I only just got to the second area, but Holy crap this is an awesome game,” exclaimed Stage_Party.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is out now on PC and Xbox Series X/S. It will then arrive on PlayStation 5 during Spring 2025.

It’s also included in PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at no extra cost.
