If you’re looking for an apocalyptic adventure, to while away the hours, you’re in luck if you find yourself playing on Xbox.

Just released on Xbox Game Pass is a very British apocalypse, where survival is key, and Fallout fans will feel right at home.

Atomfall is giving players a Fallout fix on Xbox Game Pass

That’s right, if you’re in desperate need of a Fallout fix (and who isn’t?) then you should give over some time to Atomfall, a game we loved.

As Sam said in his 9/10 review, “It’s one of the best games I’ve played this year, for sure, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a compelling, narrative adventure game. It’s not a British Fallout knock-off, it’s something much more than that.”

Made by Rebellion, Atomfall will take players to a quaint village in the UK, though it’s not as peaceful as it seems, with an apocalyptic disaster turning everyone into a survivor.

Folks over on Reddit are digging the game, and recommending that you all take a chance on it as soon as possible.

I know I will be, as it looks like a riot, and I’m very partial to both survival games, and darling little British villages.

One player only meant to try the game for 30 minutes and then… “Now I'm realizing I meant to eat lunch a couple of hours ago, lol.”

“Game feels like Fallout 3 with the exploration, and it's great,” notes ghsteo.

“Graphics are great, story is great, and the game is hella atmospheric...love it,” said another player who is enjoying their time with Atomfall.

While some are complaining of audio bugs, it hasn’t stopped others from singing some praises.

“Same, just installed it and it’s amazing!” exclaimed phamnuwen08.

Seems like positivity all around from players, and another win for Microsoft whose Xbox Game Pass is having a great 2025, so far.
