Xbox has officially announced the full lineup of 36 free games available as part of it's brand-new subscription plan, which has been introduced to replace Xbox Live Gold.
Xbox Live Gold was never exactly the best service in gaming, especially compared to the likes of PlayStation Plus and Xbox's Game Pass. Live Gold offers 'trashâ new free games (not our words) that rarely justify the price. But where PlayStation Plus seems to have made all the wrong moves, Xbox is swapping out Live Gold for something better.

Xbox Live Gold will be replaced with Xbox Game Pass Core from 14 September, which fans of the calendar will know is tomorrow.

"For over twenty years, Xbox players have been connecting via Xbox Live to compete, cooperate, and experience the worldâs biggest online multiplayer games.," the post reads. "In 2017, we introduced Xbox Game Pass which provided a curated library of games. Game Pass Core brings online play together with Game Pass in a new offering for gamers around the world."
Xbox Game Pass Core will access to online multiplayer and a selection 36 games, which have now been fully confirmed.
