If you follow any of Xbox’s social media accounts, you’ve likely seen themed console giveaways surface from time to time.

To celebrate the launch of major new titles, both first and third party, Microsoft often collaborates with devs to create bespoke limited-edition themed consoles to be given away.

In the last year, for example, giveaways were held where entrants could win Overwatch 2, Star Wars Outlaws, and New World Aeternum themed consoles.

Just a couple of months ago, a Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 console was unveiled.

The top prize was a custom-built themed Xbox Series X console and controller, along with a Deluxe Edition of the game itself.

I must say, I’ve entered these types of giveaways before and I’ve never won; it feels like such an impossibility, but it’s not at all.

It’s pretty rare that winners come forward, but the winner of the Expedition 33 console has done just that, taking to Reddit to show off the stunning one-of-a-kind console.

“Well, the wait is over, it finally arrived,” wrote L34dP1ll, “and it is beautiful. The base is pretty hefty, almost as heavy as the console, and it's masterfully painted all over with petals. Can't believe I got lucky.”

They continued, “At first I even thought, ‘Maybe I'm being scammed’, but once they gave me the code for the digital copy, I was [like], ‘Oh man, it's legit!’ I do want to give thanks to Kepler Interactive, Sandfall Interactive, and the Xbox subreddit mod team for this awesome prize!”

The prize has left fellow Xbox fans dazzled, with, it goes without saying, a fair few wishing they could get their own hands on such hardware.

“I’m happy for you, but on a side note, I wish they sold proper themed consoles like the 360 days,” wrote OrganicKeynesianBean.

“This is a work of art - thanks for sharing the pics,” added Additional-Debate-18.

“Xbox has the best custom consoles, it really just sucks you can't buy them, they would sell so many of them,” commented urboyissues.

“Majestic looking console,” YoloIsNotDead remarked

If you do want to own an Xbox that looks a little bit like this, you need to keep an eye on the company’s social accounts.

When the next themed giveaway does surface, make sure you enter; you could be the next lucky winner.
