It’s fair to say that The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt still looks great eight years later, it’s a little rough around the edges compared with newer titles, but, for the most part, it’s still impressive. Still, we’ll never say no to a mind-blowingly gorgeous graphic overhaul to give the game a photorealistic finish.

What we love most about this The Witcher overhaul, as do the fans, is the fact that it focuses on simplicity as opposed to some oversaturated assault on the eyes; the colours are muted, like real life, and the graphical adjustments are enough that it looks realistic without it looking uncanny valley.

What do you think to this 'ultra modded' The Witcher 3?

“Simple, minimalistic, yet looks a hundred times better than those videos with those clickbait titles ‘Witcher 3 beyond all limits 8k 300 mods next-gen maximum porn’ and BS like that,” begins one gamer. “This looks just right, looks like a modern game without being over the top, looks grounded and beautiful, you have great taste, sir.”

If Geralt is returning to us in The Witcher 4 as rumoured, we hope the game looks similar to this. In all likelihood, it’ll probably look even better, but we’re not greedy about how we get Geralt as long as we get him. “I just need games looking like this for next-gen to run on 60 fps. I don't care for better visuals than this,” said one eager fan, further reinforcing the truth that we’ll take Geralt every way we can.

Now all we need is for CD Projekt Red to give us a scene similar to the ‘Judy butt’ patch and the next The Witcher game will be sublime. Sadly, we have a long time to wait to see if the devs will be so kind, so we turn back to this photorealistic graphics mod and how gorgeous it (aka Geralt) looks.
