The free Steam supported mod will provide an overhaul to Half-Life and one which you have apparently “been waiting for”.
Made for veterans and newcomers alike, this mod will give you access to dynamic modes, extra weapons, refined classic maps, and advanced movement. Expect a fast, customisable, ever-evolving first-person shooter.

The Half-Life: Cross Product Multiplayer offers multiple new game modes such as Capture the Flag, Domination, Snipers, Arcade, or Arena where players will be able to use advanced movement mechanics, a wide arsenal of weapons and extensive customisation to come out on top.
As a result, the brand-new mod already boasts a ‘very positive’ rating on Steam after only being available since last month.
