Steam users have a hefty handful of games to download and play right now, all of which you can keep forever if you want to.
They’re free so you might as well give them a go, right? They might not be AAA bangers, but some of them might surprise you.
Speaking of surprises, did you catch FromSoftware’s exclusive Nintendo Switch 2 game?

First up is Rush Ultimate, which asks players to “reach the flag, complete the race and DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING,” with “24 areas to dominate and enter your name in the global leaderboard".
Sounds simple enough, and looks like a fun and goofy game to play with your friends if you’re competitive enough.
Next is Ascent DX, the description of which reads: “Crashed on a desolate but mysterious planet, you find yourself eye to eye with an ancient civilisation. Explore the planet, find powerful upgrades, and fulfil your destiny.”
Retro game fans will like this one as it has the aesthetic of a Nintendo Entertainment System game, 8-bit pixels and all.
Then we have Twilight Tales ∣ hollow's store, which looks like a very creepy title to get your hands on.
The description reads: “While trying to avoid the dangers of working the night shift at a store deep in the forest, you'll also make decisions that shape the fate of the story.”
Last but not least, we have Etherburn, a souls-like game which already has my attention being a big FromSoftware fan.
It’s description reads: “Etherburn is a souls-like action-adventure. Play as a hero resurrected in a mysterious and interconnected dungeon. Explore and face intense duels as you fight your way to freedom.”
Sounds like fun and I’m looking forward to giving it a go, I’ve always got time for a good soulslike.
