Steam 'Incredible' New Free Game is Blowing Players Away

Call of Duty who?

The battle of the shooters continues but this free tactical extraction shooter is taking Steam by storm and for good reason.

There is no denying that the shooter genre is a tough nut to crack with franchises such as Call of Duty and Battlefield leading the charge.

Now with Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Battlefield 6 expected to launch on 14 November and 10 October respectively, you would think that no other shooter would dare to go toe-to-toe with the giants.

Well, that is certainly not the case for Arena Breakout: Infinite, a brand-new high-stakes tactical extraction shooter developed by Morefun Studios.

In this shooter, every decision matters as you fight, loot and extract - or lose it all.

“With stunningly realistic visuals, lifelike sound, and unforgiving PvPvE combat, every raid is a gamble between glory and ruin,” the official Steam synopsis reads.

Released fully today, 16 September, Arena Breakout: Infinite has already managed to gain itself a ‘very positive’ rating on Steam with almost 600 reviews so it is safe to say that this is a new release you want on your radar.

With five distinct maps - the Farm, the Valley, the Northridge, the Armoury, and the TV Station - each will require their very own strategy if you wish to grab that loot and get out alive.

Plan hit-and-run strikes or even a tactical siege as you fight enemy players and scoop up the loot in order to earn yourselves some upgrades to help in the next run.

However, there is more than the enemies to worry about as the map’s ever-changing weather adds another spanner in the works.

Storms, rain and wind may hinder your plans and so you will constantly need to adapt if you wish to come out on top.

“Outthink, outgun, and extract - before the zone swallows you whole.”

In Arena Breakout: Infinite, you can expect authenticity with the Ultimate Gunsmith System featuring over 900 weapon mods and over 20 attachment slots to allow you to customise each of your weapons to your liking.

Whether you go solo or with friends, you will be able to try out a variety of different game modes such as Tactical Ops, Solo Ops, Covert Ops and fast-paced 4v4 Deathmatch modes.

“Incredible game,” one positive review reads.

“All the fun of [Escape from Tarkov] without the BS.”

There is no denying that Arena Breakout: Infinite is a love-letter to shooter fans and with such rave reviews already, it is definitely worth checking out for yourself.
