Steam New Free Download Looks Absolutely Stunning

This new Steam game is absolutely stunning, and it’s available to download right now for free.

As great as modern video games can be, it’s often a nice journey when we take a trip down memory lane to relive the glory days of yesteryear, whether we played on SEGA, Nintendo or the original PlayStation, to name a few.

However, when developers blend the best elements of video game generations filled with retro nostalgia and modern gaming, the results can be stunning, to say the least.

One such game that may fit that criteria is the upcoming indie game, Woven Horizons, developed and published by Staelen. At first glance, this charming new game gave me vibes of the beloved strategic RPG of the 90s, Final Fantasy Tactics.

“You are not a hero destined to save the world. You are a treasure seeker, drawn by a shared dream of gold and mystery,” reads the description of Woven Horizons on Steam.

“You awaken in Nadia’s inn, where every villager dreams of a hidden treasure guarded by dark forces. Drawn by the call, you embark on a roguelite journey, facing tactical battles, gathering relics, and returning stronger after each fall.”

It’s too early to tell how well-received Woven Horizons will be on a large scale, but judging by its gameplay trailer, it looks like it could be a lot of fun to play, other than just being visually pleasing, and its gameplay mechanics look surprisingly deep.

Thankfully, you can check out this charming RPG for yourself, because its free playable demo is available to download now on Steam.

Woven Horizons does not have a release date at the time of writing, other than its Steam page stating that it’s “coming soon”. You can, in the meantime, add Woven Horizons to your wishlist to be notified when it's ready to launch. Hopefully, it will arrive sooner rather than later.
