Steam making dozens of AAA games available for basically free

Steam is offering some huge discounts on its games to the point it’s practically giving them away for free.

Steam is offering some huge discounts on its games to the point it’s practically giving them away for free.

Video games are slowly becoming more and more expensive, making it difficult to fill out your game library without breaking the bank, especially when new, fully-priced games are filled with microtransactions on top of their normal retail price.

Take a look at this incredible story trailer for Marvel 1943: Rise Of Hydra

Luckily the Steam store is always packed with freebies and discounts for players to enjoy, and while most of the offerings are indie games sometimes there’s something really special on offer.

I’m sure the majority of Steam users will be familiar with the Humble Bundles, an opportunity to bag an assortment of games of varying genres for a significantly reduced price.

The Humble Bundles give customers a choice of how much they’d like to pay for however many games, with the minimum payments being $1 for three games, $5 for seven games and $10 for 10 games.

This time around the Humble Bundle will include; Saints Row 2, Red Faction, Red Faction II, Saints Row: The Third, Saints Row: Gat out of Hell, Red Faction: Armageddon, Red Faction: Armageddon Path to War, Saints Row: The Third Remastered, Saints Row IV: Re-Elected, and Red Faction Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered.

Purchasing the $10 option will net you all ten of the games, and the money raised will go towards Active Minds, "the nation's leading nonprofit promoting mental health for young adults ages 14-24."

Honestly getting 10 new games to play for as little as $10 is a great deal, even more so when the proceedings are going to charity.

With that in mind Steam users won’t want to miss out on this huge discount, as well as the opportunity to do something nice and support a worthwhile charity.
