It is sad news for one highly rated action-oriented strategy game as its publishers announced that it will be delisted for good in just under a week.
According to publisher Big Fan Games, John Wick Hex is being removed from sale later this week after being available for just under six years.
Developed by Bithell Games, John Wick Hex is a fast-paced, action-oriented strategy game set in the same universe as the John Wick movie series.
Players will take on the role of the professional hitman as they experience an original new story set prior to the events of the films.

“Created in close cooperation with the creative teams behind the films, John Wick Hex is fight-choreographed chess brought to life as a video game, capturing the series’ signature gun fu style while expanding its story universe,” the official Steam synopsis reads.
“Players must make quick decisions and choose every action and attack they make, all the while considering their immediate cost and consequences.”
Considered as one of the “best movie adaptations of all time” according to Metro, it seems as though time is finally up for John Wick Hex as it will be taken from sale on Steam in less than a week.
It has not been revealed why it is being taken down but we can assume it is to do with the publishers not renewing its license with Lionsgate Games.

“After July 17th, 2025, existing owners of John Wick Hex will still be able to access the game via their digital libraries (PC/Console) and/or physical copies (Console), however, new purchases of John Wick Hex will not be possible, regardless of platform or storefront,” the official statement from Big Fan Games reads.
Featuring big names such as Ian McShane, the late Lance Reddick and Troy Baker as the antagonist Hex, this underrated title is not one to miss out on but you had better hurry as you have just a few days left to add it to your library.
