Steam $30 free store credit up for grabs till 14 May

You don't have long if you want to get involved

Buying games can cost a small fortune these days so free credit is always welcomed.

It just so happens that you can, right now, enter to win $30 in Steam credit - and yes, you’re free to spend that on whatever your heart desires whether that’s putting it towards a major AAA like Baldur’s Gate 3 or a delightful indie like Venba.

The giveaway comes courtesy of the very reliable SteamGamesPC over on Twitter, a great account to follow for regular giveaways and updates on all of Steam’s best offers and freebies.

For this particular giveaway, SteamGamesPC has teamed up with upcoming RPG Flagstone: Getae Legacy which is currently being developed in Unreal Engine.

To get involved with the giveaway, you simply need to follow FSGetaeLegacy on Twitter and create a character in the game’s discord.

This competition ends on 14 May so you only have around five days to get involved.

Dave The Diver is well worth your time over on Steam. Take a look at the game in action below.

Flagstone: Getae Legacy is being developed by Gacriva Studio who are referring to the project as a true next-gen RPG.

“A next-gen RPG roguelike, sandbox based on the history, mythology, and culture of the Getae. With historical and fantasy backgrounds,” reads the game’s website.

The game will be launching on PlayStation, Xbox and PC although there’s no release date at this moment in time.

Developers have teased a few features though.

Flagstone will feature a voxel world “allowing you to modify the landscape” in addition to AI driven NPCs and creatures that show free will.

As for the roguelike elements, devs have said that “death is not the end,” adding that you can return as a different fantasy race.

All in all, it sounds like a project that’s worth keeping an eye on.
