Steam users can win a bit of spending money through a new giveaway, which doesn’t offer that much but it’s better than nothing.

It’s a great time to get a helping hand with your Steam spending too, as there are several games rocking the charts right now that you’ll want to get your hands on.

It’s a shame Astro Bot isn’t on Steam, though give it some time and I’m sure the little dude will infiltrate the store eventually

If I had to recommend some titles I’d say Black Myth Wukong is still getting a lot of love despite some questionable behaviour from its developers.

For a game a little less problematic though, which is weird when you know what it is, Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 is killing it right as one of the highest-ranking games on Steam.

Of course the only problem with all these fantastic games is they’re too bloody expensive, but a new giveaway should hopefully knock £5 off if you’re lucky.

The giveaway is being hosted by Free Steam Games on X, which has done several similar giveaways in the past sometimes offering as much as £20 per prize.

Entering is very simple, all you have to do is follow the X account, like and repost the tweet and do the same for the other linked tweet, and you should be good to go.

You haven’t got long to enter, mind you, as the entries close tomorrow 11 September, so if you fancy your chances now’s the time to test your luck.

Your chances might be slim but if you win you’ll be able to shave off a decent £5 from your next purchase, so it’s worth doing right?

The real question is what’s on your wishlist at the moment, as Space Marine II is at the top of my list.
