Steam dev surprises players with free store credit, but you've only got a few days

The Once Human devs have a generous offer for you

Steam users could win some free in-store credit, courtesy of the Once Human developers.

Aside from the endless supply of free games on Steam, every now and then a giveaway for free store credit pops up for users to take advantage of.

Star Wars Outlaws launches later this month, check out our preview for the game below

One of the latest giveaways however is coming from the developer of Once Human, a smash-hit survival MMO that fans absolutely adore.

If you’re wondering what Once Human is, its Steam page says it best through the description.

It reads: “Once Human is a multiplayer open-world survival game set in a strange, post-apocalyptic future. Unite with friends to fight monstrous enemies, uncover secret plots, compete for resources, and build your own territory. Once, you were merely human. Now, you have the power to remake the world.”

The game launched last month and has absolutely smashed expectations, garnering over 10 million downloads worldwide.

To celebrate the game’s success, the developers are rewarding players in two ways, the first being some in-game freebies, and the second being Steam credit giveaways.

In a recent tweet it said he’ll reward a select-few players with gift cards of increasing value depending on how much love the post gets.

All you have to do to enter is like and retweet the post, in addition to following the Once Human X account.

The rewards for certain engagement milestones on the post are as follows:

- 500+ interactions: 10 x $10 Steam Cards

- 1,000+ interactions: 5 x $20 Steam Cards

- 2,000+ interactions: 2 x $50 Steam Cards

So if you complete the above criteria you’ll be in with a chance of winning one of 17 gift cards, hopefully one of the $20 or $50 cards.

In the meantime it’s worth checking out Once Human, especially if you’re into open-world MMO games.
