Steam gamers warned they've 48 hours to grab open-world RPG for free

Steam gamers warned they've 48 hours to grab open-world RPG for free

The time for action is now

Prepare yourselves, as time isn’t on your side with this Steam deal.

Not to put pressure on you, but if you intend to grab this open-world RPG for free, you need to act with haste.

Steam will only have the option to play this title for free for the next 48 hours.

Once that time is up, you’ll have to pay full price in order to experience its challenges, intricate environments, and unusual creatures.

Fallout 76 is the RPG in question, and while it’s not as popular as other Fallout adventures, such as Fallout 4 or New Vegas, it's still loved by gamers.

Its Steam reviews have been mixed lately, but overall, the feedback is mostly positive.

What is more, Fallout 76 is always growing, with The Gleaming Depths update having been officially announced several days ago.

You won’t be able to play the upcoming expansion for free, as this deal runs out way before the depths become available.

Nonetheless, this generous deal is a brilliant way to test drive Bethesda’s title if you haven’t already tried it out.

“I decided to finally give the game a chance and it is fun, blowing away my concerns from launch. It feels like Fallout 4 and Fallout New Vegas gameplay mixed,” reads one review.

If that isn’t enough to pique your interest, we’re not sure anything we say will whet your appetite.

Another reviewer said, “Sooooo much better than when it released. I would absolutely recommend grabbing this on sale. An amazing way to experience FO with friends.”

Now is the time to play for free, then save some pennies and get the game for a discounted price. This is a win-win situation.

Unfortunately, as we mentioned not too long ago, time isn’t on your side; you have under 48 hours to play.

It’s time to gather your belongings and head outside the vault.
