Steam usually has a veritable feast of free games available at any given time. However, around holidays and special events the platform can sometimes throw up a gem for you to claim for free.

Given that Pride month has come to an end, any celebratory discounts will too, which means this game will no longer be free.

Tell Me Why is another stand out narrative adventure where you control the fate of the characters

Tell Me Why has been free for the month of June in order to celebrate Pride and everything LGBT but with those celebrations ending, so too does this amazing deal.

If you’ve not yet claimed your copy, you can do so by heading over to the Steam page and adding it to your library.

You don’t have to download it now, you can simply claim it and play it in the future as it’s yours to own and keep forever.

Tell Me Why is an interactive adventure game where two twins Tyler and Alyson Ronan must puzzle out the mysteries and memories of their troubled childhood.

All of this happens via the twins’ supernatural bond, giving the game a twist. And it all occurs against a backdrop of a gorgeous small town in Alaska where the cast of characters is as wonderful as the environment.

Featuring a trans protagonist, Tell Me Why appears often as part of Pride due to its telling of life growing up with a difficult future ahead of you.

It deals with plenty of meaningful subjects and the developer, DONTNOD worked closely with gender advocates to ensure the story was told correctly. Due to its themes Tell Me Why has won over fans with its deep story and the ways in which you can interact with it via your own choices.

The game will no longer be free by the end of 1 July, so if this is one you’ve wanted to play for a while, grab it now.
