There’s a free download available, right now, and it gives you a taste of what’s to come in the full game.
It seems Amaterasu and her sisters have arrived in Brazil for a party, only when they arrive, they discover a supernatural mystery awaits instead.
The hosts, and the guests, all seem to have vanished!
You’d think that playing as a trio of goddesses would mean an easy life, but it seems the odds are stacked against you in this adorable RPG.
While you will be battling minions and all sorts of creatures, there will be some downtime in between turn-based fights, as you can go for a spot of fishing, admire the scenery, or indulge in some yummy food.
The stand-out aspect of Sunny Trails has to be the visuals, made up of bold and colourful characters, as if a page of a comic book has come to life.
You can definitely see some inspirations here, with a little of Hades in the central characters, and a dash of Animal Crossing in the design.
Sadly, there is no firm date for release - it’s currently listed as ‘coming soon,’ so there might be a bit of a wait until you can explore the world fully.
