There are currently eight free games on Steam that don’t require a single loophole to jump through if you want to claim them.

As always, thank you to the Free Steam Games Twitter account for collating all of the free titles you can grab on the platform!

I’m gonna try my best to list these from worst to best (at least from what I can tell at a glance), so feel free to skip to the second half of the article if you just want the bangers.

First up, The Others from developer and publisher Team JPO. It's a first-person survival game that looks fun enough, but I'll be honest... it just kinda looks like a twist on Prop Hunt. Fun with mates, probably.

Next up, Kindergarten of Hell. It's an action-adventure mystery game from developer and publisher Twid Entertainment that, honestly, I think looks kind of whatever. However, the reviews are decent so don’t take my word for it if it looks like your cup of tea.

Gyra from developer and publisher 虚幻小刚 is a third-person action shooter that is, as the game description states, "free with no in-app purchases". You gotta be online to play it, but the reviewers seem complimentary at least.

Potion Problems from developer USC Games is a co-op "multiplayer party game" that looks a little tongue-in-cheek, and the reviewers seem to have enjoyed it. Either way, the artstyle is cute.

Grafika66 - The Galleries from developer and publisher GrafikaOne isn’t a game in the usual sense, but it gets a pass for looking cool as hell. It’s basically just an art gallery in a 3D space. Neat idea.

Phantom Grid from developer and publisher Mason Petersen doesn't actually have any kind of review consensus at the moment, but I'm putting it this high up because I like the vibes. It's a Tron-esque stealth game, and that's cool enough that it earns a spot in third place.

Levania from developer and publisher Modest Domination is a bit of an old-school looking RPG, in the vstyle of the earlier Final Fantasy titles. The reviews on this one are incredibly positive, so much so that I think I'll have to try this one out for myself.

The Honours Project is an "autobiographical walking simulator" from developer and publisher Scott Cambell, and I'm really taking the reviewers' word on this one because they are incredible complimentary. At very least, the vibes in this one look cool as hell.

And that’s the whole list! There will almost definitely be another one just like this with a bunch of new free games, so check back ASAP to get your hands on some more free Steam titles.
