Steam drops 6 new free games you can download and keep forever

For us gamers, there’s not much of a better feeling than claiming a free video game that ends up being a surprise hit for us.

They say that “the best things in life are free” though I’d say the purchase of a giant OLED TV might rival that statement, that being said, free video games are certainly up there.

Whether it’s a free game just for being a member of Amazon Prime in which we can download and keep a game even when a subscription ends or claiming a free game just for having an Epic Games account, it’s always a welcomed joy.

There’s always a bonus of playing a trial or demo, but in most cases, those are only for a limited time and will only likely offer a small portion of the game, unlike free-to-play titles such as Fortnite, Call of Duty: Warzone or Apex Legends to name a few.

With that in mind, as brought to our attention by the Twitter account ‘Free Steam Games, here are six free games that you can download right now via Steam and keep forever.
