It's the season of giving, and it would appear many gamers are really leaning into that vibe with some fun - and incredibly generous - giveaways.

Steam users can currently get their hands on up to $50 in free store credit, but there are some caveats. For one, there definitely isn't an unlimited supply to go around. You also don't have long to get involved, if you fancy picking up some funds for your PC gaming habit.

At the time of writing the always wonderful Free Steam Games account on Twitter has highlighted two giveaways you can get involved in. The first ends on 18 December (that's tomorrow, calendar fans) and could win you $30. The second ends on 22 December and could see you win $20 store credit.

In both cases all you have to do is follow a certain Twitter account and then follow the steps. Free Steam Games is a trusted account so definitely don't worry about anyone trying to pull the wool over your eyes. That wouldn't be very christmassy after all, now would it?

If you're not so interested in rolling the dice on this, you could also consider checking out one of the many free Steam games available to download and play over Christmas. There's nothing particularly huge, but free is free, right?

And finally, if you're looking to fork out your hard earned cash on one of the many, many games that released this year but don't know where to start, might I suggest you give GAMINGbible's top 10 games of 2023 a look over? You might just find something awesome to play. Or you might email us and accuse us of having been paid off by Nintendo to put Zelda in the number one spot. It usually works out one of those two ways.
