Are you feeling lucky? I hope the answer is yes.

Yet another opportunity has arisen where you could win yourself some free Steam credit.

This opportunity comes courtesy of Twitter/X’s ever reliable SteamGamesPC who I highly recommend you give a follow.

This time around, SteamGamesPC has partnered with indie title Spartacus Blood Arena to give away $50 of Steam credit.

It's a nice little system; you get the opportunity to bag some free credit and indie devs are granted some time in the spotlight.

To win the $50 gift card, you need to repost the giveaway tweet, follow ArenaSpartacus, join the game’s Discord server, and show proof in the comments of the giveaway post.

It’s also requested that you consider wishlisting the game.

SteamGamesPC is always a little vague on exactly when these giveaways close but at the time of publication, there’s around 72 hours left so that should provide some indication of how urgently you need to act.

While you’re here, I’ll help shed some light on that aforementioned game, Spartacus Blood Arena.

This is seemingly a debut title from indie studio Survival Player.

The game is partly an action title, partly a fighter.

“Fight for freedom through intense, tactical battles, crafted with the expertise of archaeology departments and reenactors from Rome, Capua, and Pompeii. Prepare for glory. Prepare for blood!” teases the synopsis.

Essentially, it’s a gladiator-inspired combat arena where you’ll face off against an array of fearsome foes.

The devs have apparently researched the period thoroughly, with areas - as outlined above - based on real locations in Rome, Capua, and Pompeii.

Players can customise their gladiator’s weapons and armour, playing in either a single-player campaign or via the multiplayer mode.

The combat is real-time and as for development, the title is seemingly in its pre-alpha stage.

So do go take a look at it if you’re entering this giveaway; I’m sure the devs would appreciate your consideration.
