If you enjoy free games, Steam is the place to be.

It’s constantly adding new free-to-play titles to its virtual shelves and four of the latest arrivals are all positively cosy delights that you will not want to miss out on.

Thank you to the ever reliable SteamGamesPC for bringing these to our attention.

Let’s begin with Invasive Species, a couch co-op tower defence title set within a greenhouse.

Developed by Whiteboard Cleaner Studios, the game sees players assume the role of two friends tasked with looking after one of the individuals’ grandparents’ greenhouse.

Unlucky for them, it’s being targeted by robots who want to destroy the crops inside.

The duo must defeat the bots and use their scraps to build defences around the greenhouse.

It sounds like a good silly dose of fun if you have a friend or spouse handy.

If that doesn’t sound all that relaxing to you, Pocket Team have released Pocket Garden - a small game where you simply build a small basic garden.

There are no resources or limitations. You just place items where you want them.

I’ll admit, the options might be a tad too basic but you may be able to while away some time here.

A disclosure on this one, the main store page art and in-game character silhouettes were generated using AI.

Next up, we have jiholee1210’s Fisher Man, a fishing simulation game.

As you might be able to guess, it’s your job to catch fish and complete quests.

It’s all pretty low stakes but that’s exactly what you want from a title of this formula.

Rounding us out is M&J Company's Angvik: Returns.

This one is a fan game inspired by the platformer Angvik which launched around a decade ago.

I have to say that this one looks incredibly well made, offering a gorgeous pixel graphics world for players to explore.

Angvik: Returns is a 2D action platformer so as well as jumping your way to safety, you’ll also encounter your fair share of enemies.

You can select from six different classes though, allowing you to face enemies with weapons and quirks that suit your play style preferences.

All of the above titles are available to enjoy for free right now, so don’t miss out.
