You can download and keep these four free Steam games forever with no catch whatsoever.

Especially with the cost of video games suddenly becoming more expensive with the likes of the Nintendo Switch 2 and now Xbox, it’s probably only a matter of time until PlayStation starts using buzzwords like “value” and “economic climate” to justify further price steep increases.

So if we can claim some free games without even having to subscribe to services such as PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass, it will most certainly pique our interest.

Check out the Darkest Days trailer below!

As brought to our attention by the Twitter account Free Steam Games, four promising games can now be downloaded for free over on Steam / PC and kept forever.

Those titles are:

  • Darkest Days: “A zombie shooting RPG set in a post-apocalyptic world devastated by a sudden zombie outbreak. Explore a dark yet captivating open world, build a sanctuary with fellow survivors, grow stronger, and fight for survival.”
  • Fallen Vestige: “Seeking vengeance against the creatures that killed his family, embark on a journey to find the source and uncover the mystery of the creatures in this open-world light RPG with horror elements. Explore, scavenge, fight, and survive through means such as parkour, puzzle solving, and skills.”
  • Path of Light: “A stealth adventure game following the journey of Lumi, a little robot seeking to reclaim his town's stolen light. Escape enemies, solve puzzles, and navigate obstacles to ascend the Forgotten Chapel.”
  • Dishventory: “Wash piling dirty dishes in this strategic card game! Figure out cool dish combinations and discover new dishes with their own abilities.”

Hopefully, at least one of the four above games will tickle your fancy. Be sure to give Free Steam Games a follow because it’s not only a great place to discover free games, but it’s also often giving away free Steam store credit.
