If you want to claim four free Steam games to play on PC that you can keep forever, then look no further.

It feels now more than ever, especially with what’s going on in the world, the cost of living crisis won't be ending anytime soon. To escape from our worldly woes, perhaps there is no better distraction than the one provided by our beloved video games.

Check out the Plangman trailer below!

Reducing the chances of us wasting our hard-earned money is more vital than ever and services such as PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass are great ways to reduce costs in comparison to splashing the cash on a few video games in the coming months.

Being able to access free playable demos is also important regardless of whether we play on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo or mobile devices. However, if we can claim full free video games with no strings attached, that’s even better.

As brought to our attention by the Twitter account Free Steam Games, here are four games that you can claim for keeps right now:

  • Clay Beats: “is a casual couch co-op rhythm game where two players take on two kindred cats who aim to become masters in their craft... pottery! Embark on an adventure, meet new clients, and become the pawttery masters of Potteria!”
  • Maskerade - The Deadpan Cry: “is a first-person narrative-oriented survival horror game, where you incarnate a young girl who has been kidnapped and forced to work as a ballerina in a terrific and mysterious cabaret, from which she must find a way to escape from the clutches of the Madame who runs it.
  • Skylax! The Lab Runner: “is an FPS game that presents you with tight gameplay and good mechanics. In the game, you can pass levels either by hiding using the invisible mechanic or by fighting against enemies. And after each level, you will upgrade your weapons and utilities!”
  • Plangman: “is an Apple II-inspired hangman platformer. Take the word-guessing of Wheel of Fortune, mix in Lode Runner-style puzzle platforming, add the storytelling of a text adventure, throw in a dash of physics, and--voila!--you have Plangman.”

Hopefully, at least one of the above games will tickle your fancy.
