Steam drops 4 free games, just in time for the weekend

That's a lot of games

Steam users can play another four games over the weekend, completely free, and despite not all being bangers, it’s nice to have them nonetheless.

Below you’ll find all four games as well as a brief description for each one, but obviously give them a go in your own time to see if they’re your cup of tea.

Right, let’s get started then. First we have a game called Granvir: Zero Front, which looks to be a mech-shooter that looks a little bit like Armoured Core, but obviously not made by a AAA studio.

Fighting off waves of opposing mechs with a variety of weapons looks like it’s good fun, definitely one to check out if you’ve got time.

Moving on though, we now have GRIMWAR, a game that has a very vague description to it when you check out its Steam page.

Looks like it’s a first-person shooter with magic spells instead of guns, and it kind of gives me the same vibe as Ultrakill or Doom, looks neat.

Next up, we have SyncroChromia which is an FPS rhythm game, a genre that’s become very popular in recent years.

Blasting to the beat, you’ll fend off waves of enemies, though this one doesn’t look as polished as some of the other titles…

Finally, we have ShootX, possibly the weakest looking game of the four but perhaps I’m being too harsh there.

The description for this one simply reads, “Enter the world of ShootX and experience exciting missions as a soldier fighting evil,” make of that what you will.

All four of the above titles are free on Steam right now, so whether you’re bored, like indie games, or you’re just looking to kill the time while a AAA game installs, these are worth checking out, and there are, of course, more where they came from.
