A new week, a new Steam festival, and this one is adorable. Centred around creature collecting, the latest Steam Fest has a wealth of demos to play, games on sale, and a few freebies for fans.
The Steam Creature Collector Fest is running now, and ends on 19 May, giving you only a few days to grab some deals.

Among the games on offer are several cute titles, all of which riff off the Pokémon theme of collecting creatures, or simply have adorable critters front and centre.
I can personally recommend Temtem, along with Cult of the Lamb, though these are very different games.
As with many of these festivals and sales events, Steam is giving away some little freebies for users to personalise their profile, along with stickers to be used in Steam’s chat function.
Currently, there are three lovely additions available for free, including a cute frog sticker, an animated avatar that scrolls through several lovely illustrations of animals, plus a foil avatar frame.
You can find them in the points shop, though these don’t cost you anything.
It’s the perfect way to show your love of animals, or your passion for the games included in the latest festival.
While PC players aren’t able to legally play any Pokémon games, there are plenty of alternatives on offer, including several Digimon games.
Some of these are included in the sale, with Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition for 90% off its usual price.
Alongside this, you’ve got the surreal Bugsnax, which is worth anyone’s time, and many more titles that will have you seeking out lovely monsters and creatures.
