If you want to claim 12 free video games from Steam that you can download and keep forever, then you’re in the right place.

As a gamer, there’s not much worse than spending our hard-earned cash on a video game that we were looking forward to only for it to be an absolute stinker. Anthem, I’m looking at you. This is why free-to-play games such as Fortnite and Call of Duty: Warzone prove to be so popular, with a bit of microtransaction restraint, we can enjoy those games without spending a penny.

Check out the Adrenaline Injection trailer below!

So, with that in mind, as brought to our attention by the Twitter account ‘Free Steam Games’, here are 12 video games via Steam on PC that you can download for free, play and keep today:

  • Invention 5 is a “3D first-person shooter with Scrollshooter elements. Complete levels, kill zombies and fight bosses to defeat the main villain, Casey.”
  • Ember Point “is a red-hot, combat-focused, third-person action game. Play as a disgraced defector, Gravitus, from a militaristic mega-corporation.”
  • Adrenaline Injection “is the demo version of Adrenaline Rampage game - Survivor platformer. You are trapped in a distorted space city. You need to survive and return home. Standing in your way are hordes of techno-mutants. And something strange is going on in this space city.”
  • Mortuar “is a one to four player Online co-op psychological horror game. Delve deep into Hoia Baciu Forest where eerie sightings and paranormal activity have transpired.”
  • Primal Slideee: “Does this game seem easy and simple to you? It will require both your skill and luck.”
  • D.N.A - Do Not Answer “is a first-person, story-driven horror game where players navigate an eerie, abandoned hospital, uncover clues, manage limited light sources, and face a dark presence.”
  • Rat Raze/Road to Riches: “Outsmart your opponent and race across the finish line first in Rat Raze or work together to reach the treasure in Road to Riches.”
  • WANTED - Yokai Uprising “is a cooperative first-person shooter. Take down waves of yokai solo or with a partner. Choose between two mercenaries with unique play styles to complete the mission assigned to you and defeat the city's most wanted boss.”
  • Enlisted: “This MMO squad-based shooter recreates the key battles of the bloodiest war of the 20th century, with hundreds of soldiers, tanks and aircraft taking part in each battle.”
  • Low Batt: “Step into the thrilling world of Low Batt, a heart-pounding Top Down Shooter that pits you against the formidable security forces of L.E.A.D. Industries.”
  • Tactical Warfare: “Immerse yourself in Tactical Warfare, a captivating mini-game of the base game where you defend your base against relentless enemy waves.”
  • Metal Slug - Awakening “continues the classic gameplay loved by fans, with exciting new features like World Adventure, three-player Team-up, and Roguelike challenges.”

Hopefully, at least one of the above games might be your cup of tea.
