Skyrim fans should check out this new open-world RPG that’s being released this coming August.
If you like going on open-world adventures in games such as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Dragon’s Dogma 2, then you might want to put this upcoming RPG on your radar. Assuming you can take yourself away from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered for an hour or two.
Check out the Alchemy of the Earth trailer below!
That game is Alchemy of the Earth, developed by the indie team at Tamalpais Games. Judging by its gameplay trailer, at least when it comes to visuals and musical score, it certainly has that Skyrim vibe.

“Explore the dreamscape of an Alchemist. Uncover his attempts to bring back the dead. Survive in a doomed world, where the Alchemist's failed experiments linger behind, guarding his abandoned secrets,” reads the synopsis on Steam.
No solid release date has been announced for Alchemy of the Earth at the time of writing, but if all goes well, it will be released on Steam in August.
What’s more, according to a reply by the developer on YouTube, a free playable demo is planned for this June.
“I’m looking forward to seeing more,” said CamilleMeehan in the comments section of the Alchemy of the Earth trailer.

“I came here from Steam. It’s on my wish list, because it looks so good,” replied RobinDefoe-c2s.
Of course, there’s no way of knowing whether Alchemy of the Earth will be a good game purely based on its trailer, despite it looking somewhat promising. Fingers crossed, its free playable demo will arrive as intended in June.
To be updated on the release of Alchemy of the Earth, be sure to wishlist it on Steam. Hopefully, the full game will drop at some point this year.
