Steam has just dropped a new free game that you can play now, and this one might attract a certain unique fanbase.
One of the benefits of playing on Steam is you get access to quite a massive library of free games. There’s usually no break in these releases, with new free games dropping nearly every day.
And with so many free games done over a wide variety of genres, there’s definitely going to be some that appeal to certain fanbases more than others.
Pet That Vtuber is one such game that might attract such a crowd, one that I’m not going to call by name. But from looking at some of these images, you know who you are.

For what it’s worth, despite the revealing and sexualised outfits (a descriptor that Pet That Vtuber’s developer PixelSeraF acknowledges), the game appears to actually be quite wholesome.
It's basically an idle and clicker game where you click to give headpats to a Vtuber named Zentreya, with each pat giving you points.
You can then spend these points at the in-game shop, where you can unlock a collection of outfits and backgrounds for Zentreya to appear in.
You can customise her outfits and the scenery freely at any time during gameplay, with PixelSeraF saying this allows you to create “your perfect, comfy scene”.
Pet That Vtuber Has Some Rather Wholesome Positive Reviews
Indeed, the reviews for Pet That Vtuber seem to be quite wholesome, which is lovely to see to be honest.
“Beautiful art and a very wholesome experience,” reads one review. “If you need something to give you a boost throughout your day this is it.”
“Very cute and wholesome game, beautiful art within the game and very fun unlocking all the outfits. Keep up the great work!” reads another review.
“Amazing game, with comfy pixel art style. It's a simple clicker that allows you to unlock more content. Hope fellow geckos also find this lovely game,” a third review reads.
Each review for this game doesn’t have a massive amount of playtime, typically around 15 to 30 minutes of playtime, so I wouldn’t expect loads of content. However, there is one mad lad with about eight hours on record, so I can respect the hustle.
