This upcoming open-world game blends the worlds of Minecraft and The Elder Scrolls, and it looks stunning in the process.

In different ways, when it comes to immersive open-world games, Minecraft and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim are amongst the best of their respective genres. Mojang Studios’ Minecraft mainly focuses on world-building while Bethesda’s Skyrim largely focuses on narrative adventures.

Check out the SkyVerse trailer below!

If you’re a fan of both Minecraft and The Elder Scrolls, then you might want to check out this upcoming indie game developed by Enjoy Studio S.A. called SkyVerse.

“SkyVerse is a novel take on the RPG and sandbox survival genre in first-person perspective,” reads the description of the game on Steam. “Embark on the adventure with your friends - Build a base on a flying island-ship, gather resources, craft, loot, and fight while you rise above the clouds to uncover the mysteries of this world!”

In SkyVerse, players will not only be encouraged to build and explore its world promising an “endless horizon” but also to solve its many mysteries as they explore its lands and lush skies. What’s more, SkyVerse looks absolutely gorgeous.

SkyVerse is currently in its early stages of development but soon it will be launching on Steam early access when you can not only enjoy the game but also help to shape its final version come release by providing valuable feedback to the developers.

At the time of writing, SkyVerse does not have a release date but to ensure that you don't miss its early access launch, be sure to wishlist it on Steam.

There’s no word of a console release yet, but interestingly, the Steam store does say that it will feature cross-platform multiplayer. Hopefully, we’ll learn more about potential platforms in the coming months and we’ll keep you posted if new information drops.

For now, at least, SkyVerse will be released on PC.
