A new open-world RPG is on the way that kinda reminds us of Fallout and Bloodborne, which is a concept not to be sniffed at.
Ever since Fallout was first released on PC in 1997, it’s been one of the most popular RPGs of all time, even before the franchise became a Bethesda property.
For decades, fans have been charmed by Fallout’s post-apocalyptic world full of quirky NPCs, fun missions, going to war with raiders and being chased by mutant abominations such as the Deathclaw.
Speaking of the menacing Deathclaw, this is a monster that certainly wouldn't look out of place in Yarnham, the iconic location of FromSoftware’s Bloodborne.

Released in 2015 on the PlayStation 4, Bloodborne is considered by many to be the best game by FromSoftware, and that’s saying something, considering the plethora of great games this studio has put out.
Bloodborne is such a beloved game that fans are not only desperate to see it released on PC and upgraded on PlayStation 5, but a sequel would surely delight its legion of fans. Sadly, none of those appear to be happening anytime soon.
Thankfully, at least, tons of games could keep us busy while we wait for a new iteration of Bloodborne, as well as Fallout 5. One such game is the indie title, developed and published by MXR Productions, called The Path Into The Abyss, set in the South American country, Argentina.

“The Path into the Abyss is a hardcore first-person open-world survival shooter set in Buenos Aires with a backdrop of cosmic horror, combat mechanics, dynamic AI, and looting,” reads the description of the game on Steam.
After watching its teaser trailer, not only does The Path into the Abyss give me Fallout and Bloodborne vibes, but also the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series from GSC Game World.
The Path into the Abyss does not have a release date at the time of writing, so it may be a way off. In the meantime, be sure to wishlist it on Steam to be notified of any updates.
