It’s hard to believe that after all the years of waiting and numerous delays, the launch of Starfield is nearly upon us.

Leading up to its highly anticipated release, Bethesda has claimed that Starfield is a game two decades in the making. Not that it’s literally taken 20 years to develop, but rather its concept was once a dream and now thanks to technological advancements, that dream is finally coming to fruition.

Check out the Starfield story trailer below!

Starfield promises to be the biggest game that Bethesda has ever developed. Not only with commercial hype but also given the fact that it not only features the largest city that the developer has ever created but also has an additional 1000-plus planets to explore. That being said, it was recently reported that only 10% of those planets will have signs of meaningful life.

Still, given the fact that Starfield has around 100 premium planets (if you will) and 100-star systems, this sci-fi RPG could be keeping us entertained for years. If that feels like an exaggeration, just look at how much fun players are still having with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, a game that was originally released back in 2011.

So it’s fair to say that there’s a lot to learn with the upcoming Starfield, even with Bethesda already being very open providing us with plenty of juicy details. However, Bethesda is about to reveal even more thanks to a Q&A session on Discord with the lead quest designer, Will Shen, and the lead game designer, Emil Pagliarulo answering community questions.

The Starfield Q&A session will take place on 16 August. If you want the opportunity for your questions to be answered, you’ll need to submit them on the #constellation-questions channel by 11 August.

In related Starfield news, we’ve recently learned that the sci-fi RPG will feature a total of three religions and nine factions, some of which are very weird indeed. What’s more, the release of Starfield sneakily coincides with an Xbox Game Pass downgrade.

Starfield will be released on 6 September 2023 for PC and Xbox Series X|S. Unless you’ve pre-ordered the Premium or Constellation Edition, in which case, your release date will be 1 September. Starfield will also launch on Xbox Game Pass.
