Star Wars Outlaws free download available for you to claim till 30 September

It’s time to get your blasters at the ready because Star Wars Outlaws is almost here.

Not only are players preparing for its release, but so too is Ubisoft.

To celebrate the upcoming launch on 30 August, fans can claim a free download throughout this month and well into September.

We were already sold on the game considering it’s the closest we’ll ever get to being a part of the films, however, we’re even more invested when freebies are up for grabs.

The ‘Forest Commando Finish’ is a skin for your ship, and is available to all fans.

However, while you can download without already owning the base game, you won’t be able to access said reward without Star Wars Outlaws.

Seems pretty self-explanatory, but these are the details that can be overlooked.

A lot of you have already pre-ordered this Star Wars adventure, so it’s not like you’re having to unfairly dish out cash to get this free item.

Once the game is released into the wild, your ‘Forest Commando Finish’ will appear in your game’s inventory.

While the typical grouping of angry Star Wars fans have emerged to say “thanks, but no thanks” to this offer, there are others who appreciate the opportunity to claim it before it’s gone.

“Thanks for the heads up, grabbed it,” said Redditor roughseconds.

Even if you’re not fussed about getting a free download, all eyes are on the upcoming Ubisoft title.

Anyone interested in playing it will want to make room for it because its file size has confirmed that it's a big 'un.

“The galaxy far, far away couldn’t feel any closer,” – that’s what GAMINGbible’s Sam Cawley said after his hands-on preview.

We’ve already been “blown away” by what we’ve seen so far, and with freebies arriving in time for launch, we’re even more eager to explore the Outer Rim.
