Red Dead Redemption 2 players can enjoy a free, official update from Rockstar Games adding more to do in Red Dead Online.

As critically-acclaimed as Red Dead Redemption 2 is, I mean seriously it’s one of the best games ever made, I think we can all agree the online multiplayer was a bit of a let-down.

GAMINGbible sat down with the cast of the Fallout TV series for a game of snog, marry or irradiate, check it out in the below video

While Red Dead Online is good fun, especially with friends, it pales in comparison to GTA V Online, which saw much more post-launch support and is still getting updates even now.

That being said, Red Dead Redemption 2 players do occasionally get a bone thrown to them by Rockstar Games, like a new free download that adds missions, bonuses and more to Wild West game’s online offering.

A recent blogpost on Rockstar’s official website reads “From archery competitions to capturing territory, Free Roam Events are a great way for new Red Dead Online players to get acquainted with the frontier — and they are awarding 4X XP through April 29.”

That’s right, playing the open-world missions this month will net you significantly more rewards than usual, which can be used to deck-out your characters' outfit, weapons, and businesses.

Fast travel fees have also been eliminated this month, meaning you can traverse the open-world that little bit easier.

It isn’t much, but it’s honest work, and at least Red Dead Redemption 2 is still being acknowledged by Rockstar.

Of course when GTA VI rolls around you can safely bet support for GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 will come to an abrupt end, as the developer focuses all of its efforts on providing new content for players of the next game.
