Red Dead Redemption 2 players can finally give Arthur Morgan the life he deserves

Unfortunately it's not a cure for tuberculosis, but it'll have to do

Arthur Morgan lived a hard life. The son of a prostitute and an outlaw. Orphaned at the age of 11. Inducted into a gang at the age of 13. Then he catches tuberculosis, gets betrayed by his mentor, and ultimately dies roughly 20 years later.

Oh, spoilers for Red Dead Redemption 2 by the way.

Players became attached to Arthur pretty quickly, so it’s no surprise that his sad life and brutal death upset several folks.

Fortunately, through the power of modding, we can at least give Arthur the life he deserves before he passes… by hooking him up with a sweet new home.

“Arthur's Private Luxury Penthouse In Saint Denis” is a new mod from modder Saxen123 on Nexus Mods, and I think “Luxury” might be putting it lightly in this case.

Saxen123 also released a handy video that serves as both a showcase and a guide for those who want to install the mod.

They do specify that you’ll have to install the Rampage mod prior to using this one, as it’s required to actually get the Penthouse mod to work.

Saxen123 has made a whole bunch of impressive mods for Red Dead Redemption 2, including the “Saint Denis Fight Club” mod and the “Criminals Hidden Safehouse” mod.

The Private Luxury Penthouse is located Kuo Chao and Co’s Gunsmith in the Chinatown district of Saint Denis, seemingly occupying a space in the building that is otherwise completely unusable.

It comes fully equipped with a bed, somewhere to change your clothes, a safe, and even a swanky balcony that you can likely use for nefarious purposes. I wonder if the cops will be able to pathfind their way there?

Personally, I’m gonna combine this with the new Sadie Adler mod so she can enjoy a happier life as well. Jeez why do all of Rockstar’s characters live such miserable lives?
