Red Dead Redemption 2 mod lets you play as Sadie Adler

Red Dead Redemption 2 fans looking for a new way to enjoy the game might want to stop and take a look at this awesome new addition to Rockstar's celebrated open-world epic.

As much as we love Arthur Morgan and John Marston, Red Dead Redemption 2 is full of memorable characters we'd love to spend more time with.

Hardened outlaw-turned bounty hunter Sadie Adler is perhaps my ideal choice to lead the inevitable Red Dead Redemption 3, but since that game is several thousand years from releasing, a new free download that allows us to play through Red Dead Redemption 2 as Adler will have to do.

Over on NexusMods the brilliant Sadie Adler Project is much more than just a simple reskin that swaps Arthur Morgan for the cowgirl.

You can expect unique voice lines for combat, NPC interactions, and more so that Arthur's gravelly voice isn't coming out of our heroine. There are also a bunch of custom outfits for Sadie so it feels a genuinely fresh experience.

"You can still hear Arthur in certain scenarios, like during scripted encounters with camp members," the mod's creator explains. "This is intentional so that you can still follow the story while using this mod."

It's not perfect then, but if you've beaten the game and just want to explore with Sadie, this is hands-down the best mod you'll find to scratch that itch.

Given Red Dead Redemption 2 fans have been very vocal about wanting to see Sadie step into the spotlight with her own story, do be sure to give this a try and let Rockstar know the demand is real.
