Uncharted fans are optimistic that one of Naughty Dog’s unannounced games might finally be the sequel they’ve been waiting for.
The Uncharted series has been dormant for far too long, with only cameos in games like Astro Bot and films that sort of resemble it keeping the series alive.
To say it’s one of PlayStation’s best series it’s not getting the love it deserves right now
That could all change though as developer Naughty Dog has confirmed it’s working on an unannounced title, and Uncharted fans are hoping it’s one of theirs.

At the time of writing Naughty Dog is primarily working on its next narrative experience, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, but has said a second game is being created alongside it, produced by Neil Druckmann.
As you can expect most are assuming it’s The Last Of Us Part 3, despite Neil Druckmann claiming a third entry in the series might never happen.
Uncharted fans are hopeful it could be a fifth game for them though, with some replying to the news saying “We just want Uncharted 5.”
Others added “Please be uncharted” and “Uncharted 100%,” and while there’s probably a decent chance that they’re right there are also plenty of other games it could be instead.

A new Jak And Daxter game wouldn’t go amiss right about now, or it could be yet another new IP like Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.
It feels like we can rule out The Last Of Us Part 3 at least as it’s probably too soon, and Neil Druckmann would more than likely be a director for that game, not a producer.
I’m sure we’ll find out soon enough, but with Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet being a top priority for the studio right now we’ll probably hear more about that game before anything else.
