Naughty Dog is in the midst of celebrating its 40th anniversary; that means fans have the opportunity to get their hands on a couple of new treats.

Unfortunately, there’s nothing yet in the way of an update on the studio’s upcoming title Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.

Naughty Dog has teamed up with Dark Horse again though to release two new pieces of merchandise centred around two of the studio’s most iconic franchises: The Last of Us and Uncharted.

You’ll soon be able to get your hands on new deluxe jigsaw puzzles themed to those two particular franchises.

I’ll admit, this isn’t going to be to everybody’s tastes but it’s a match made in heaven for me.

The Last of Us is my favourite franchise and I must complete anywhere between 20 and 30 jigsaws a year.

The Uncharted jigsaw is a 500-piece circular puzzle featuring the Cipher Disk from Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.

It’s the other design that we’re here to talk about though.

Are you keeping up to date with HBO’s The Last of Us?

The Last of Us puzzle design is slightly larger as it’s 1,000 pieces, plus it’s double sided so you’re getting two completable designs.

The first features that iconic shot of Ellie playing her guitar in front of a tree that’s often used across the key art of The Last of Us Part II.

The second image is a similarly framed version where Ellie is preparing to fend off Scars, perched behind a tree.

Here in the UK, both puzzles will set you back £22.84.

Celebrating 40 years of @Naughty_Dog, we've teamed up to bring you two new deluxe puzzles: a 500-piece circular puzzle of the Cipher Disk from #Uncharted, and a 2-sided 1,000-piece tribute to #TheLastofUs Part II. It does appear that Dark Horse ships from the US, so you’re going to have to factor international shipping, tax, and custom duty costs in.

Those costs are worked out during the checkout process.

And, of course, if you’re US-based then it’s just regular ol’ shipping for you.

Both puzzles are available for pre-order now; they should ship in October later this year.
