The Last of Us fans have a limited time to claim reward points towards free PlayStation Store credit.

I remember being besmitten by the free playable demo of The Last of Us included with copies of God of War: Ascension on PlayStation 3 in 2013. I don’t think I’ve played a demo more than this beloved new Naughty Dog release.

Check out The Last of Us Part I trailer below!

Since 2013, The Last of Us saw a remaster the following year on PlayStation 4 and a full remake for the PlayStation 5 in 2022. Not to mention The Last of Us Part II, which was originally released in 2020, and recently got a remaster of its own.

Now, fans are eagerly awaiting the announcement of The Last of Us Part III. Naughty Dog chief Neil Druckmann has given us mixed messages regarding the third-numbered entry but I think we’d all be quite surprised if it never happened.

In our review of The Last of Us Part I, we said: “This is a faithful and expertly enhanced remake. Fans will find no better way to experience this story, and first-time players are likely to discover a new all-time favourite.”

If you’ve not picked up The Last of Us Part I or The Last of Us Part II Remastered, earning easy points with Sony’s loyalty scheme, PlayStation Stars is a great way to pick up either game at a discount.

By completing campaigns with PlayStation Stars via the PS mobile app, you can earn points that can be redeemed against £5 and £10 store credit to spend on the PlayStation Store.

It may take a while to accumulate enough points, but by stacking your store credit each time you redeem points, you’ll be topping up your total in no time.

There’s an easy PlayStation Stars campaign called ‘PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue’ and you’ll earn 50 points by firing up The Last of Us Part I, Bloodborne, Days Gone, Death Stranding Director’s Cut, Like a Dragon: Ishin or Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.

However, this campaign ends on 30 April 2025, so act fast to avoid the disappointment of missing out.
