Console exclusives are becoming more and more lax over recent years with beloved titles regularly launching on once-competitive hardware.
That is certainly the case for one Xbox title which has made its way to PlayStation for the first time and fans are understandably feeling the hype.
Marking the series’ debut on non-Xbox consoles, Gears of War: Reloaded is now available on the PlayStation 5 as well as on the Xbox Series X/S and PC.
Released today at the time of writing, Gears of War: Reloaded will allow players to experience one of gaming’s most acclaimed games like never before.

This is because Gears of War: Reloaded is an official remaster for Gears of War, which includes graphical enhancements, new features and better optimisation for current-gen consoles and hardware.
It builds on the work of the previously released Gears of War: Ultimate Edition so players can expect the 2006 title to look better than ever before.
Not only that, but as mentioned, this is the first time that Gears of War has come to the PlayStation as PS5 users will now be able to dive into the previous Xbox exclusive.
With the launch of the third-person shooter on the PlayStation 5, one user took to r/playstation to share the hype.

“It’s insane to see God of War and Gears of War next to each other on the same console,” they posted, alongside a screenshot of the PS5 home screen showing the games in question.
One person agreed, commenting, “Older me: one day, God of War and Gears of War will be on the same console. And it's PlayStation.
Younger me: I don't believe you.”
User fontainesmemory also summed up the situation perfectly.
