PlayStation Plus surprise freebie is a huge hit with subscribers

This GOTY contender is now free to try through PlayStation Plus

A brand new freebie just dropped on PlayStation Plus that fans are already in love with, and it’s easy to see why.

As spotted by a few users over on the r/PlayStationPlus subreddit, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is now available through the PS Plus Premium free trials.

Unlike a lot of the past free trials, this one isn’t a pithy one hour demo. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth’s free trial is actually 10 whole hours long, although you’ll probably only be able to get through about fifteen percent of the game regardless.

Over in a thread discussing its inclusion on PlayStation Plus, users had nothing but praise for the new Yakuza title.

“This game has Infinite Length, so 10hrs is a good taste,” commented user ionp_d.

“My personal GOTY and one of my all time favorites. Please give this game a shot,” replied user Wrong-Yogurt-1636.

One user even shared a detailed breakdown on how to get the most out of the 10 hour long trial.

“I loved Infinite Wealth got it shortly after release,” commented user MagickH8Ball, “I will tell you that 10 hours goes by fast there are a lot of cutscenes early on and winded dialogue. All of it necessary and expected with Yakuza/Like A Dragon.”

“Just know that it’s gonna eat into that 10 hours before you know it… The crew is back with some new additions, all new classes/jobs to try, and I recommend once you get the game to try out all the substories. I don’t recommend doing the substories during the trial, you honestly won’t have the time.”

As always, your progress in the trial will carry over into the full game, so don’t be afraid to take your time if you do plan on purchasing the game eventually.

It was a bit of a sleeper GOTY pick for a lot of folks, so it’s well worth a go!
