The Black Friday sales are nearly upon us offering an opportune time for consumers to save a few quid ahead of the Christmas rush.

Well, I say the Black Friday sales are nearly upon us, but in truth, the November sales seem to get earlier every year to the extent that we might as well call November ‘Black Friday Month’. That being said, if you’re looking to subscribe or even renew Sony’s PlayStation Plus service, now could be the perfect time.

Check out the God of War Ragnarök trailer below!

As detailed on the PlayStation Blog, between 17 November and 27 November, new PS Plus subscribers can save up to 30% on 12-month plans across the Essential, Extra and Premium/Deluxe tiers. What’s more, if you already subscribe to PS Plus, you can save 25% when upgrading to Extra or 30% when upgrading to Premium/Deluxe.

However, that is not all, because Sony will be running a variety of promotions during the Black Friday season whether it be PS Plus subscriptions, the PlayStation Gear store, the digital PlayStation Store as well as third-party retail outlets.

On the PlayStation Gear store, you can pick up a variety of awesome merchandise to represent your favourite blue brand franchises from The Last of Us Part I, Horizon Forbidden West, and God of War Ragnarök as well as PlayStation-branded items saving you up to 20% off the RRP. We can also expect to see some of the previously mentioned games discounted and more on the PS Store. In terms of third-party retailers, it might be a great time to pick up an additional DualSense controller or a Pulse headset.

As a final heads-up, if you want to save some money on PlayStation subscriptions and goodies this month, you’ll have to be quick. Whether it's via the PS Store, PS Gear or third-party retailers, Sony’s Black Friday sales will only run from 17 November to 27 November.
