PlayStation Plus subscribers are hopeful that next month’s offering could be really good, based on prior games added to the service.

Overall, PlayStation Plus is a pretty good deal, and its multiple tiers mean you can be selective about what you pay for rather than acquiring a bunch of features you don’t actually use.

For example, I rarely play the retro titles Nintendo Switch Online grants me; I just want the multiplayer access. I don't have the same issue on PS Plus.

PlayStation Plus also features some real bangers, like Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.

That said, the monthly PlayStation additions vary from total letdown to the second coming, and fans have high hopes March will be a good one.

Their evidence? The games that were added to the service in March of previous years, providing some indication of what we might see.

Reddit user kabirsingh84 shared a look back at those titles, which included the likes of Shadow Of The Colossus, Sifu, Final Fantasy VII Remake and Team Sonic Racing.

There are more titles, of course, but these are some of the standout ones for me anyway. All in all, a good offering.

Now while it’d be easy to take this information at face value and assume March is just a really good month for PlayStation Plus, there’s more than likely a chance it’s just a fluke, nevertheless subscribers remain hopeful.

“Last year only Sifu was great, and that's a niche game for some. I expect this month to be better than the previous two. But I still believe nothing will top in 2021!” said one subscriber.

“March 2021 was something else. Still my favourite month ever,” added another.

All we can do now is wait and see what’s on the way, but whatever is added there has to be at least one that can be considered a banger. Stay tuned for updates on the updated PlayStation Plus game roster in the near future.
