PlayStation Plus July free game line-up partially leaks online

This line-up is looking promising

It’s nearly that time of the month when Sony announces the latest additions to its PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium 2024 tiers but not before we’re treated to the traditional pre-announcement leaks.

It doesn't matter what tier of PS Plus you subscribe to, each offers decent value for money lining up a plethora of video games at our fingertips, whether it’s AAA big hitters, indie darlings or retro classics of yesteryear. However, before Sony makes the official announcement, you can bet that the latest offerings to PS Plus will leak first.

Check out the Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion trailer below!

Usually, such leaks are courtesy of Dealabs journalist Bilbil-kun and as history would often dictate, those leaks will turn out to be true and I very much expect this story to be no exception. However, it’s worth keeping in mind that this leak is unconfirmed by Sony and the games seem to be a snippet of what the full line-up will bring.

The games reportedly coming to PlayStation Extra and Premium this month include Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion (PS5/PS4), Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord (PS5/PS4), No More Heroes 3 (PS5/PS4), Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous – Enhanced Edition (PS5/PS4), Remnant 2 (PS5) and Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes Complete Edition (PS4).

Out of all those games mentioned, perhaps the 2022 PSP remaster of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion is the pick of the bunch but No More Heroes 3 and Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes Complete Edition may also tickle the fancy of many PS Plus subscribers.

Typically, for PS Plus Extra and Premium, 12 to 16 games are often dropped, so we should expect around 10 or so more games to be officially announced by Sony later today. Some of those games will also likely include retro titles.

As always, as soon as Sony drops the official announcement for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium for July 2024, we’ll update you immediately.
