PlayStation Plus free game line-up for June announced

A mixed bag

PlayStation Plus’s Essential games lineup for June has been announced as part of some early Days Of Play celebrations.

PlayStation’s Days Of Play event gives it users a variety of great deals through the sales but this time around it’s being used as an early outlet to announce June’s PlayStation Plus games, some of which will be available tomorrow 28 June.

The following games will be available for PlayStation Plus Essential and higher subscriptions; NBA 2K25, Alone in the Dark, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk and Destiny 2: The Final Shape.

Not a bad roster of titles, but not the best we’ve seen either, the two standout ones here feel like Alone In the Dark and Bomb Rush Cyberfunk.

Destiny 2: The Final Shape will be made available from tomorrow, 28 May, whereas the other three will be live on 3 June.

Also coming to the subscription service for Extra tier subscribers and higher is a handful of bonus games, including Another Crab’s Treasure, Skull and Bones, Destiny 2: Legacy Collection and Grand Theft Auto III.

Grand Theft Auto III is the remastered version from the trilogy collection, so make of that what you will.

Again these games will see a staggered release, with Another Crab’s Treasure joining the service on 29 May, followed by Skull And Bones on 2 June, then Destiny 2: Legacy Collection on 4 June, and finally Grand Theft Auto III on 10 June.

Retro games Myst and Riven will be added for classic gamers on the Premium tier PlayStation Plus subscription, and new game trials will be made available, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and Sid Meier’s Civilization VII.

A pretty mixed line-up there which I’m sure will upset a lot of people, but there are some gems amongst those titles that you should definitely check out, if they’re available through your membership that is.
