One exciting offer includes the chance to earn some free in-game credit which, if you are anything like me, you will not want to turn down.
“It’s official – Days of Play is back for 2025! We are kicking off the 2025 celebration on May 28, with community activities, new content coming to PlayStation Plus, and great offers on PS5 consoles, games, and accessories,” the PlayStation blog post read.

With an exciting year ahead filled with new game releases, experiences, and milestones, it’s a great time to check out the latest PlayStation activities and promotions we have planned for this year’s celebration.”
As mentioned, celebrations kick off today and will run until 11 June and as well as announcing the essential tier games which will be arriving on PlayStation Plus in June, Sony also announced a further six bonus games which will also be added to the extra and premium tiers.
There will also be Game Trials which will allow players to try out Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and Sid Meier’s Civilisation VII.
Not only that but there is a way to earn free in-game credit throughout the next few weeks.

This is courtesy of PlayStation Tournaments and this time, the tournaments centre around NBA 2K25.
To participate, players must take part in special PlayStation Tournaments for NBA 2K25 during the 3 to the 11 June.
By competing in multiple competitions each day, they will be able to earn some goodies including NBA 2K Virtual Currency and Days of Play-themed PlayStation Network avatars.
Luckily, NBA 2K25 is currently included in PlayStation Plus’ Monthly Games for June so you can take part in this tournament at no extra cost.
