PlayStation Plus gamers obsessed with 'best game' the service has ever given away

Players are really feeling this one

A short list of ‘the best games given away via PlayStation Plus’ is causing a lot of discussion as it named High on Life as one of the best.

Out of 10 games listed, High on Life came in fourth place, with many holding it up as a cracking experience that has to be played.

High on Life was a big hit with fans of Rick and Morty

I’ve not played this one - the humour just isn’t for me - but so many players have loved the surreal jokes and the action powered by ludicrous weaponry.

Over on Reddit, one fan commented, “It's genuinely quite funny and the gameplay is engrossing enough to stick around.”

Of course, High on Life suffered a blow after the Justin Roiland controversy marred the experience.

Another player is a big fan, saying, “I bought High on Life with High on Knife (DLC) a while back before it was free PS plus and the game is dope.”

Others are discussing what should have been on the list, focusing on the remake of Dead Space.

After one PlayStation fan noted, “It's a decent game, I'm more surprised Dead Space remake didn't make it on the list,” others got in on the discussion.

One player, while discussing it on Reddit, said, “probably the best game ever given for PS Plus that I can recall, and I bought it.”

The ‘best game’ on the service is entirely subjective and depends on who is asked.

Some fans are repping titles like Powerwash Simulator which is a very chill time, while others are looking to games like Rocket League which debuted on PlayStation Plus years ago.

Every month, PlayStation gives away several games as part of the PlayStation Plus subscription.

On top of this, you can also find an extensive catalogue of games to play at any point, with some big hitters available to download.
