A new PlayStation Plus sale has left users disappointed, with one even calling it a “let down” from Sony.
Tomorrow signals the 15th anniversary of PlayStation Plus, which originally launched on the PS3 on 29th June, 2010.
In the years since then, Sony has revamped and added new features to the service over and over. Things like cloud saves, game libraries, and free demos have become the expected norm.

Now, a new sale for PlayStation Plus users has launched on PS5 and PS4, giving members exclusive deals for many games.
Some discounts available in the sale include Star Wars Outlaws for 50% off, Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition for 45% off, and Far Cry 6 Game of the Year Edition for 75% off.
They’re not bad deals really if you’re yet to pick up any of these games, but users are disappointed in what’s on offer during the sale.
“I was hoping we would get a more decent catalog than games that were monthly games already and games that go on sale every now and then,” wrote a post on the PlayStation Plus Reddit page.

Comments underneath agreed with this, saying the sale felt disappointing compared to other sales PlayStation runs from time to time.
“It’s the same handful of games getting recycled every sale, with barely any $ differences between each sale,” wrote one user in the comments section. “None of the titles on my wishlist have gone on sale in over a year.”
“I was the BIGGEST PS Fan.... I have a PS5... However I haven't turned it on in months once I bought a Steam Deck OLED+Dock. Steam Summer Sale is going on and I am getting games for $5, $9, and $15 and $19.99,” another user wrote.
“Just checked the PS Store sales. Same sale for the past couple years lol. Best thing I saw? Resident Evil Village Gold Edition for $14.99. I am going to buy that and play it third person. Sony has really let me down recently.”
