PlayStation fans seriously impressed with new console announcement

Sony has announced a new PlayStation 5 console bundle featuring everyone’s favourite robot, and the fans are thrilled.

We can see why, it’s combining the amazing, PlayStation 5 console with the best game of 2024, Astro Bot.

We’re not shy at GAMINGbible about our love for Astro Bot. Not only did the wonderful Kate give it a perfect 10/10 in her review, but all of us were excited to see the delightful cameos.

Now, Sony are taking advantage of the excitement and bundling the game in with the console to bring this great adventure to more people.

Over on Reddit, where the news of the bundle was announced, fans are impressed and happy to see the console.

“Astro Bot with his mothership! Nice to see Astro getting this push,” comments SpyronManiac36 in the top reply on the thread.

Meo95 is eyeing the console happily, saying, “I finally decided to get a PS5, so this bundle is perfect timing.”

Astro will hopefully become the new PlayStation mascot after the success of the game, and the inclusion of Astro’s Playroom being on every PlayStation 5 console.

The little guy has the potential to appear in many more games, sparking off waves of crossovers and platforming journeys, and you can pick up the console bundle now.

As pjatl-natd says, “Astro Bot has the potential to be evergreen, similar to Mario Kart 8 for Switch.”

After one Redditor asked if it was worth getting this bundle, rather than the PS5 Pro, Shango1208 commented “yes, and you’d still have an excellent experience in most games. And get one of the most fun platformers released in recent memory.”

It’s a bit of a shame that Sony hasn’t added some flair to the console to make it stand out, and a few users agree, with one saying, “would be cool if it had more blue accents.”
